Solar water heating (SWH) is the conversion of sunlight into heat for water heating using a solar thermal collector. A variety of configurations is available at varying cost to provide solutions for different house hold needs. SWHs are widely used for residential and some industrial applications.
A sun-facing collector heats a working fluid that passes into a storage system for later use. SWH are passive (convection-driven)(A) and active (pumped)(B). They use water only, or both water and a working fluid. They are heated directly or indirectly . They operate independently or as hybrids with electric or gas heaters.
SWHs could save you up to 70% of your electricity bill by just using the power that nature has provided, the sun. This is due to the fact that the most electricity is used by the geyser in a house hold, therefore by installing a SWHs you can save in electricity and invest your money else where.
This is looking at the 3 pillars of sustainability Economics, Social and the Environment. There is a financial gain, using alternate energy source and lessening your greenhouse gas emissions.
We supply both retrofit and complete installation. A retrofit system is adding a solar collector to your existing geyser and a complete system has a geyser included. We do system for all the sizes mentioned below. the links below will take you to the systems that we have installed and saving our customers money.
